The standard rate for hiring is $25 per hour. To make a booking, please complete the relevant form below and return it to the Community Centre Coordinator at hvcc.bookings@gmail.com.
Space and Equipment
- Indoor partitioned room
- 50 chairs and 5 rectangle tables (on wheels). Seating can be set as required.
- 3 cushioned bench seats.
- Projector, retractable screen and white board.
- Standard electrical supply.
- Free high speed WiFi.
Kitchen
The kitchen has a serving window that connects it to the function room. It contains a microwave, conventional oven, dishwasher, fridge, electric jug, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Users are required to supply their own cleaning cloths, rubbish bags and cleaning liquids. Cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, broom, mop and bucket) is available.
Conditions of hire
You must be over the age of 18 to legally hire a Council facility. Click on CONDITIONS OF USE to view.
No overnight stays are permitted.
Cleaning
The hirer is responsible for cleaning, including window smudges, and leaving the facility as they found it.
Capacity
The comfortable capacity of the function room is 50-60 people.
Health and safety
As part of the rental agreement, the hirer accepts legal responsibilities to meet evacuation plans, health and safety responsibilities and to act as the facility warden.
Hours of hire
The Heathcote Valley Community Centre is available for hire Monday to Sunday, 8.00am to 11.00pm (hours outside of this may be negotiable).
Alcohol
The consumption of alcohol is permitted. A special licence is required if selling alcohol or selling tickets to an event where alcohol is supplied. Applications take at least 20 working days to process. Parking
There is on-site parking, including one accessible car park. Street parking is also available on Bridle Path Road.
There is a bike stand at the front of the building.
