These classes are suitable for all levels of experience, and a wide range of ages. The focus is on linking the breath with our practise, flowing and stretching through a mostly simple range of asana (poses) the outcome of which brings you into a good alignment with your centre. The aim is that you will leave these classes with a deeper connection to your ‘self’ and your radiant inner light; feeling more grounded, stronger, calm and whole.
MOVEMENT REWIRED WITH NICKY

Teacher: Nicky Woodward

These are gentle floor-based lessons that will help you to improve your overall well being. They utilise gentle movement, mindfulness and breathing approaches which are suitable for all age groups and all levels.
This term we will be looking at improving our balance, coordination, and agility. We will be exploring movement patterns that will help us to bring our heads back into natural balance, enabling optimal and easy function. You can expect to free your necks and shoulders, and develop a better understanding of the movement of your head in relation to your pelvis. When we have less constraints in the movement of our head and neck we can more fluidly respond to our environment – to what we see, hear and sense.
These lessons are based on Moshe Feldenkrais© Method of Learning.
