SPECIAL EVENTS | Term Four 2020

PLANT POWERED WORKSHOPS

We are very fortunate to have the amazing Kirsten Wyllie coming to our community centre to run her Plant Powered workshops! Not only will you leave these great value workshops with some amazing products but you will also have the knowledge to create more goodies in your own home. She is offering two options – Body & Skincare and Kitchen, Bathroom & Laundry. I would thoroughly recommend both!

GARDEN VISIT & MOVIE EVENING

This is an amazing opportunity to visit a we slice of paradise in Heathcote and also be inspired by what is happening in Hinewai Reserve on Banks Peninsula.

CELEBRATION DAY FOR GIRLS

We are very lucky to have the wonderful Alice Tabak run this great workshop in our community.

CELEBRATION DAY FOR GIRLS (9-12YRS)
SUNDAY 30th AUGUST
HEATHCOTE VALLEY COMMUNITY CENTRE

There’s one thing a pandemic can’t stop and that’s our daughters’ march towards puberty! This is a beautiful one day workshop for girls to enlighten, educate and empower them about menstruation and the dynamic, cyclic nature of being a woman.
Starting out with a positive and aware relationship with our changing bodies is a step towards self love (especially in teenage years!) and an open and informed community.
